A human movement experiment was conducted with 4 young adults who performed 3 walking tests at a constant speed of 2 mph. PLADA-instrumented templates are used to record the plantar load of the lower extremities during walking, synchronized with the motion capture system that records the angular trajectories of the lower extremity joints.
In this shared data repository, the kinematic and kinetic synchronized data is provided considering the local time of acquisition. In addition, the processed data are provided considering step segmentation and normalization by percentage of the gait cycle.
Description of the data set structure:
Data.Info: general information of the participant.
Data.TrialX:
Left: Data recorded in the left template.
Right: Data recorded in the right template.
KinematicLeft: Recorded data of left articulation angles.
KinematicRight: angle data.
Step:
KineticLeft: the pressure at 24 FSR and GRF normalizes by the gait cycle .
KineticRight: pressure to 24 FSR and GRF normalize by gait cycle.
KinematicLeft: The angles of the joints are normalized by the gait cycle.
KinematicRight: The angles of the joints are normalized by the walking cycle.
