We performed a cross-sectional study to demonstrate that updated WHO criteria for stopping mass drug administration (MDA) against onchocerciasis have been met in Bioko Island (Equatorial Guinea). This study was carried out from September, 2016 to January, 2017. A total of 7,052 aged 5- to 9-year-old school children, were included. Onchocerciasis/lymphatic Filariasis rapid diagnostic tests (RDTs) and ELISA/PCR were performed.
