Numeric data for E. coli growth curve

Growth of the derivertives of Escherichia coli strain W3110 hemB with hemB deletion (referred to as strain ∆B) harboring the plasmids for expression of hemB or its mutated gene with single amino acid substitution, namely the strains ∆B_B, ∆B_B'[K13L], ∆B_B'[E87K], ∆B_B'[G131R], ∆B_B'[G268T], and ∆B_B'[A269M] (inset: specific growth rates of each strain). Growth was evaluated by measuring the optical density at 660 nm (OD₆₆₀).
