Multi-point meteorological data, continuously observed since 2010 around the Sugadaira research station and Yatsugatake forest station of the Mountain Science Center, University of Tsukuba, Japan, are archived. They contain AWS, LAI, snow depth and weather detector data, and are extremely useful for evaluating the heterogeneity of surface micro-meteorology in forested mountainous regions with winter snow covers by comparing with reanalysis data and satellite products. Data are composed of meta-data and original data at each site with a report explaining about the observation methods and data characteristics that will be the key reference when the data is opened to the mountain science community. Data are compressed as .zip format named with the abbreviation of observation site as listed in Table 1 of the report, such as CGS.zip for the data in Campus grass site of Sugadaira Research Station.
