Kinematic data of a pendulum serving as an angular acceleration reference
This dataset contains the model prediction of the kinematics of a pendulum swinging in the gravitational flied as well as sensor-based measured data. The data contains all three kinematic levels (angle, angular velocity, and angular acceleration). Sensor-based measurements and post-processed derived kinematic levels were obtained from an optical motion capture system (a twelve-camera (infrared Miqus M3) motion capture system from Qualisys AB, Gothenburg, Sweden), an inertial measurement unit (Xsens MTi-20 VRU from Movella Inc., Nevada, USA), and an self-developed inertial measurement cluster. Each data file contains the time series (first column in seconds) and the kinematic value measured at this time point. The first entry of each column represents the respective measurement method.
