This is data on aquatic invertebrate collected from streams in the Huachuca Mountains within the Upper San Pedro River Basin of southwestern Arizona, USA. Each site were sampled multiple times between 2009 and 2011 with a per-stream average of 21 sampling events.

More details on the characteristics of the ecosystem, sites, and the sampling techniques are provided in Schriever et al. (2015) "Hydrology shapes taxonomic and functional structure of desert stream invertebrate communities" in Freshwater Science, 34(2):399-409.

This dataset was used in Dong et al., (2017) "Importance of Neutral Processes Varies in Time and Space: Evidence from Drylands Stream Ecosystems" PLOS ONE.
