Global Maritime Port Database - Fabled Sky Research

The Global Maritime Port Database (GMPD) is an essential online resource offering detailed information on maritime ports around the world. Designed as a comprehensive reference and planning tool for mariners, the GMPD includes general geographic locations and over 70 key characteristics and services for thousands of ports globally.

This database is the result of a collaborative effort between Fabled Sky Research, SFK Inc., and the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA). It integrates data from the Sailing Directions and charts published by the NGA, supplemented by additional authoritative sources from both domestic and international entities to fill any gaps or provide more complete information.

While the GMPD provides valuable general information, it is not a substitute for the detailed charts and publications that offer in-depth coverage of ports. For precise operational planning, mariners should always consult the most recent charts and publications available.
