Gephi datasets for LinkedIn co-hashtag analysis and X/Twitter mention analysis of the Sam Altman Controversy. Data collected using Zeeschuimer on 14 December, 2023 for LinkedIn using queries [Sam Altman], [#samaltman], and [@samaltman] resulting in over 1900 LinkedIn posts in total. Data collected using Zeeschuimer from January 1st until January 7th, 2024 for X/Twitter, scaping posts from pre-selected list of accounts and uploading the datsset to 4CAT to use the ‘filter by value’ processor to filter out tweets containing only keywords “Altman” and/or “OpenAI,” which resulted in a dataset of circa 280 tweets in total. The timeframe for collected posted included 14 Novemebr - 14 Decemebr 2023 for LinkedIn, and November 16, 2023 until January 7th, 2024. The choice of November 14, 2023, was to ensure that the collection would account for all posts that were shared on the day that Altman was fired from OpenAI given the scraping and date selection limitations on both platforms.

The datasets were then used to create Gephi networks. For LinkedIn, the network was based on co-hashtag occurances across posts. For Twitter, the network was organized around the most engaged with tweets per cluster (according to retweet count).
