We standardized the historical forest resource survey data, defining forests as areas with tree cover dominated by woody species and a canopy density of ≥0.2. We integrated forest inventory data with four land cover datasets and employed an NDVI-assisted majority voting strategy to create a high-resolution (30 m) forest cover dataset for 2000–2020. The dataset focuses on forests dominated by tree species with a canopy closure of 0.2 or higher.
