<p dir="ltr">This is a radio frequency identification (RFID) reader with sensor capabilities. The RFID reader consists of an IMPINJ RFID reader and a vibration sensor. The vibration sensor detects physical vibrations and activates the IMPINJ RFID reader. Before vibrations occur, the RFID reader is in sleep mode; not emitting radio waves or performing read functions. Once the vibration sensor detects shock/vibration, the IMPINJ RFID reader switches to active mode and begins a read operation. The active mode of the vibration-sensitive IMPINJ RFID reader is activated only when vibrations occur.</p>
