Facial Stimuli - Macaques

This dataset provides 230 facial images of 196 individuals from two macaque species (Macaca mulatta and Macaca fascicularis), each from a different field site (C and D). Depicted individuals are of different sex, age and captured exhibiting neutral and/or threatening facial expressions. Images are arranged into three zip files containing facial images of (1) male rhesus macaques exhibiting neutral and threatening facial expressions (one image of each per individual; 'ThreatNeutralMales-Rhesus.zip'), (2) male long-tailed macaques exhibiting neutral and threatening facial expressions (at least one image of each per individual; 'ThreatNeutralMales-LongTailed.zip'), and (3) rhesus macaques with neutral expressions of all sex and age classes ('Neutral-Rhesus.zip). The spreadsheet provided contains information about the images and the animals depicted on the images.
