PrecisionAnalyser replaces the earlier workbook ' Extracting DICOM headers for CTReconSim'.

Use it to find the variability in axis alignment between 3 reconstructions from the same patient or object.

Contents:

1. ImageJ macro for bulk extraction of the relevant Image Orientation information from the DICOM header of a CT scan - tip: convert stacks to a single DICOM file before use.

2. Worksheet that takes the ouput of the macro and converts it into 6 columns of data representing unit vectors describing the x and y axes.

3. Worksheet that takes the unit vectors for x and y, finds z, and calculates alignment precision for each axis. Output of this worksheet can be used for graphical and numerical analysis of inter-reconstruction variability.

This updated workbook has an improved layout and clearer method than the old version.
