External audit table

<p dir="ltr"><br>This dataset contains the <i>External Audit Validation Table</i> for the study <i>“Taking Flight with Aviation English: How are Malaysian Teachers Preparing the Next Generation?”</i>. The table documents the process of validating the thematic coding through an external auditor.</p><p dir="ltr">The validation covers three major themes:</p><ol><li><b>Teachers’ understanding of Aviation English</b> – including long learning processes, sources of aviation knowledge, and requirements for teaching.</li><li><b>Integration of aviation content</b> – including activities and material preparation, integration with technical parts, and the use of real-life content.</li><li><b>Instructional challenges</b> – including the nature of learning Aviation English (jargon, pronunciation, comprehension), students’ abilities and attitudes, inadequate resources, and institutional support issues.</li></ol><p dir="ltr">For each subtheme and sub-subtheme, evidence from participant interviews (T1, T2, T3) was presented to the external auditor. The auditor indicated agreement by validating the appropriateness of the coding. This process strengthened the trustworthiness and rigor of the qualitative analysis reported in the manuscript.</p>
