Energy Consumption of Coal Mining in Coal Resource Cities in China
China has a long history of coal mining, most of the mines have entered the middle and late stages of mining, and many coal resource cities are gradually depleting their coal resources, and the internal problems of coal resource cities are endless, and the contradictions between various aspects are concentrated. Coal resource cities waste a lot of energy resources every year due to coal mining. Understanding the spatial distribution of energy consumption of coal mining in China is of great significance in decision support for promoting energy system transformation and deploying future coal mining planning. The study crawled the coal production data of each coal resource city in China through the web crawler method, and measured the comprehensive energy consumption based on coal production according to the top-down method, and calculated the comprehensive energy consumption per unit of coal production in each province on this basis. The results of the data show that coal resource cities in China with coal mining energy consumption greater than 5 million tons of standard coal are mainly concentrated in the eastern region, Jin, Shaanxi, Mongolia, Ningxia and Gan.
