This dataset contains anonymous survey responses examining the interplay of organizational pride, knowledge sharing, and perceived managerial support on employee engagement in Chinese traditional tertiary industries. Collected via an online questionnaire (n=233 total, 154 valid), the dataset includes demographic information (e.g., age, education), Likert-scale ratings for key engagement factors, and open-ended responses discussing workplace motivators and challenges. These results offer empirical insights into how generational and cultural nuances affect employee commitment, collaboration, and perceptions of managerial leadership in China. All personally identifiable information has been removed to protect participants’ privacy.
