posted on 2025-02-28, 12:02 authored by Rachel ParkinsonRachel Parkinson

Electrophysiology data accompanying the paper "Bumblebees learn to use peripheral taste to predict the presence of nectar in flowers" by M Harrap, R Parkinson, H Jones, and G Wright.

Columns are:
1. BeeID: individual identifier

  1. location: mid or tip, relates to the position on the most distal segment of the antennae where the recordings were made.
  2. sensillum: within-bee unique sensillum identifier
  3. stim: stimulus used to obtain the recording
  4. conc: concentration, in mM
  5. avg1s: number of spikes per 1s (i.e., the spikes per second)

cols 7-end are binned spikes (100 ms bins) for 2 s.

R file ("Antennal_stats") contains all analyses performed to generate figures and statistics.
