Largemouth bass (Micropterus salmoides, LMB) is an aquaculture fish with an annual yield of more than 700,000 tons. Relevant genetic and breeding studies have broad application prospects, and a high-quality genome assembly helps interpret genetic and sequencing data from LMB. In this study, the genome of a male LMBwas sequenced by using the PacBio Sequel sequencing platform (Pacbio), high-throughput chromosome conformation capture (Hi-C) and pair-end illumina sequencing techniques. After assembly and annotation, we obtained a high-quality genome of LMB.
