This
inter-disciplinary study used a mixed-method approach to understand the use of
digital tools for engagement in remote learning during the Covid-19 pandemic at
a University of Technology (UoT). A questionnaire
consisting of closed and open questions was used to collect data from four academic
departments at UoT: Media, Retail and Business Management, Entrepreneurship and
Food Science. In this study, eighty-eight (88) students
completed the online survey.
