The dataset was generated using digital underwater photogrammetry (UWP) techniques to construct high-resolution digital elevation models (DEMs) and orthomosaics of coral structures. These products enabled multiscale analysis through the application of the Maximum Overlap Discrete Wavelet Transform (MODWT), a wavelet-based method that decomposes reef topography into rugosity components across different spatial scales. The resulting decomposition distinguishes between local rugosity associated with live coral cover and underlying rugosity, which reflects the historical development of the reef.
