In this study, we aimed to assess the magnitude of screening attendance for breast or cervical cancer and identify its predictors among women aged 30-49 years in the Gedeo Zone. Our findings provide novel insights into early detection behaviors related to these cancers and their implications. We aim to fill a significant gap in the existing literature by investigating both cancers simultaneously and incorporating protection motivation theory.
