Dataset of "Partial Shading Losses in Half-Cut PV Modules: Experiments, Circuit Simulation, and an Analytical Loss Function"

<p dir="ltr">Dataset and Simulation Files</p><p dir="ltr">This dataset accompanies the paper "Partial Shading Losses in Half-Cut PV Modules: Experiments, Circuit Simulation, and an Analytical Loss Function" (accepted with revisions by IEEE Journal of Photovoltaics, not yet published).</p><p><br></p><p dir="ltr">The data and related program files are made publicly available here. This repository also includes Figure 2 and Figure 4 from the paper. For the complete article, please obtain it through the publisher according to their regulations.</p><p><br></p><p dir="ltr">/DataSet Folder</p><p dir="ltr">Contains the data used to generate Figure 4 in the paper. Note that these are averaged measurement values, not raw measurement data.</p><p><br></p><p dir="ltr">The data covers 4 different shading ratios across various coverage areas (Case 1 to Case 6), with comparisons between experimental measurements and LTSpice simulations.</p><p><br></p><p dir="ltr">File naming convention:</p><p><br></p><p dir="ltr">Files like Ave_A-1.xlsx contain measurement data</p><p dir="ltr">Files like A_1.txt contain LTSpice simulation data</p><p dir="ltr">All files present I-V curve values</p><p dir="ltr">Shading ratio codes (yeah, the naming order isn't great, but it is what it is):</p><p><br></p><p dir="ltr">A = 100% shading ratio</p><p dir="ltr">B = 25% shading ratio</p><p dir="ltr">C = 50% shading ratio</p><p dir="ltr">D = 75% shading ratio</p><p dir="ltr">Case numbers:</p><p><br></p><p dir="ltr">_1 to _6 correspond to Case 1 through Case 6</p><p dir="ltr">Special files:</p><p><br></p><p dir="ltr">Ave_0-0.xlsx and 0_0.txt: No shading (baseline)</p><p dir="ltr">Ave_FullyCover.xlsx: Module fully covered with a black blanket</p><p dir="ltr">/LTSpice_Model Folder</p><p dir="ltr">We've provided an LTSpice model for the 25% shading Case 1 scenario. This includes the complete module circuit model and its components, specifically the half-cut cell circuit models.</p>
