Dataset of the nest temperature, ambient temperature and light intensity data recorded for the PhD project of Aurelia F. T. Strauß. The data is used for two projects:

1. observational study linking diel timing, fitness and life history:

2. experimental study (light treatments inside the nest-box) conducted in spring 2021
