Malang district is one of the centra production of citrus in Indonesia. The most common variety of citrus in Malang are Keprok Batu 55, Siam Madu, and Baby Java. The production of these native citrus variety has major problem due to fruit borers. Fruit borers caused premature fruit drop up to 80% in citrus orhards. This research shows the difference species of fruit borers infesting three citrus variety in Malang. Bactrocera dorsalis, B. carambolae, Drosophila melanogaster, and Atherigona orientalis were found infesting Keprok Batu 55, Siam Madu, and Baby Java citrus. However, two species of fruit borers, Zaprionus bogoriensis and Prays endocarpa were only infesting Baby Java citrus. B. dorsalis was the most dominant species in Siam Madu (53.84%) and Keprok Batu 55 (42.95%). In Baby Java citrus, A. orientalis was the most dominant species (36.52%). The preference of citrus fruit borers to citrus variety was affecting the species composition. Siam Madu citrus was the most damaged citrus variety but Baby Java citrus has the highest diversity of fruit borers species. The population of fruit borers species were also affected by environmental variables. Citrus fruit borers seemed to be affected primarily by the temperature and wind speed.
