Two experiments were conducted using emotionally charged images to induce specific emotional states and assess their impact on risk-related decisions in a gambling task. The experiments differed from the experimental manipulation: unlimited vs. limited stimuli presentation time. Additionally, the influence of outcomes of a gamble on subsequent decisions was explored. Hypotheses assumed that both approach-related emotions and frustration from previous losses would lead to more risky and impulsive decisions.
