Data Set of multilingual Muslim sermons & speeches.pdf

This dataset comprises multilingual Muslim sermons and speeches in Makassar, Indonesian and Arabic. The data was obtained during ethnographic fieldwork for a PhD in the province of South Sulawesi, and was also used to write a journal article. Permission was granted from the speakers/preachers for recording, transcribing and analysing these texts, most of whom were interviewed subsequent to their preaching.
