Data (Part 2) for 'Dynamic allometry in coastal overwash morphology'
These data for washover deposits in the Ria Formosa barrier system, in southern Portugal, accompany the article 'Dynamic allometry in coastal overwash morphology' (Lazarus et al., 2019).
Table 1 includes the barrier name, an indexing code (per barrier), image year, two washover feature IDs (for tracking individual features between images, washover area (m2), and washover length (m). (See Fig. 1 & 2 of the corresponding article.)
Table 2 includes the barrier name, an indexing code (per barrier), image year, two washover feature IDs (for tracking individual features between images, washover area (m2), and washover length (m) for a subset of individual deposits that appear in four images (1952, 1976, 1989, 2001). (See Fig. 5 of the corresponding article.)
