Corpus of Policy and Scholarly Documents for Ghana's Post - COVID Health Governance Study (2022-2024)
This curated documentary corpus contains 15 key documents used in the study “Post-COVID Health Governance and System Resilience in Ghana: A Qualitative Documentary Analysis.” The corpus spans the period from 2020 to 2024 and includes national policy reports, international databases, planning frameworks, peer-reviewed academic literature, and grey literature. It was constructed using principles of corpus construction (Gaskell & Bauer, 2008) to enable analytical comparability, thematic saturation, and methodological transparency.
Documents were selected to reflect Ghana’s health governance trajectory during the acute phase of the COVID-19 pandemic (2020–2021) and the recovery/reform phase (2022–2024). The corpus supports an interpretive policy analysis focused on decentralization, ageing, equity, resilience, and institutional adaptation.
The materials in this dataset serve as a reproducible and triangulable foundation for thematic synthesis and policy content analysis. They are intended for scholarly use in public health governance, global health systems research, and pandemic resilience studies. Each document is fully referenced in the accompanying manuscript, with DOIs or source details where available.
