In this paper, we attempt to investigate the putative implication of BCG, OPV, MMR vaccines and nine other vaccines in the protection against COVID-19. We used a combination of bioinformatic tools to compare amino-acid sequences of the main antigenic proteins in the investigated vaccines and SARS-CoV-2 proteins and to predict the immunogenicity of similar identified patterns.

Funding

This study was funded by the Tunisian ministry of higher education and Scientific Research (Research laboratory: Virus, Vectors and Hosts). It was also partially supported by the European project PHINDaccess: Strengthening Omics data analysis capacities in pathogen-host interaction (Grant agreement ID: 811034).
