Chinese Soil Moisture Observation Network and Time Series Data Set

An automatic soil observation network for high-resolution satellite applications in China (SONTE-China) was established for measuring both pixel-based and multilayer-based soil moisture and soil temperature. The SONTE-China distributes in 17 field observation stations with a variety of ecosystems, covering dry and wet zone. This dataset provides the daily mean data at the pixel scale of 17 typical ecosystem sites through the end of 2021. .Each station provides soil moisture and soil temperature data at four depths (5cm, 10cm, 20cm and 40cm). This dataset uses a 5TM sensor. The dataset is stored in EXCEL format.
