Carbon Mitigation Potential in Building Design: A Region-Specific LCA Approach for Nature-Based Construction

<p dir="ltr">We conduct a transparent LCA comparing mid-rise housing typologies in Germany, Indonesia, and Bhutan, systematically assessing conventional and nature-based construction to reflect current practices and future material choices. The supplementary data for <i>Carbon Mitigation Potential in Building Design: A Region-Specific LCA Approach for Nature-Based Construction</i> includes a short explanation of the included LCA modules, detailed material layers for all typologies assessed, building-component-results per LCA module and whole-building results in different units for comparability.</p>
