CRU TS v4.09 Monthly Cloud Cover Data (1901–2024)

<p dir="ltr">This file contains monthly mean cloud cover data from the Climatic Research Unit Time-Series (CRU TS) Version 4.09 dataset, covering the global land surface from 1901 to 2024. The data are stored in NetCDF format and compressed using gzip. Each grid cell represents average fractional cloud cover, expressed as a percentage, with a spatial resolution of 0.5° latitude/longitude. The dataset enables detailed analyses of historical cloud cover trends, climate variability, and integration with other CRU TS climate variables (e.g., temperature, precipitation).
