Biome- and year-specific global soil respiration

Bond-Lamberty and Thomson (2010, link below) used an empirical model, based on a global soil respiration database, to predict the global flux. These data summarizes that model's outputs by year (1961-2008) and biome. Fields include:

 

rs and rh: soil respiration and heterotrophic respiration, Pg C

MAT and MAP: mean annual temperature and precipitation, area-weighted, C and mm

T_anomaly and P_anomaly: deviations from 1961-1990 mean, C and mm

area: biome area, km2

 

Summed by year, these numbers will produce the global flux shown in Figure 2 in Bond-Lamberty and Thomson (2010).
