This data concerns the indigenisation of the Science, Mathematics and Technology Education Programme at the postgraduate level. The data was collected in Mthambotini, Mpumalanga, with the indigenous knowledge holders in the form of artefacts. A camera was used to take pictures of the artefacts. The main purpose of collecting this data was to reveal the science, mathematics, and technology knowledge enshrined in the artefacts. This has huge implications for the indigenisation of the programmes down to the curriculum to promote the transformation of education in South Africa and beyond.
