This research encompassed my contribution of Group 4, Surveillance Logic. I conducted qualitative interviews on over 30 different museum visitors inside the Beeld en Geluid Media Museum in Hilversum. This research was conducted in order to answer my the objective for the group: “how can we illuminate the way of learning about tracking and surveillance without being heavy handed in our approach?”

This interview data was also going to be personally used for my thesis paper which sought to answer the following research question and subquestions:

"How does the visibility of surveillance in museum spaces impact visitor engagement and privacy awareness, and do people react differently to physical vs. digital surveillance?"

and

"How do museum visitors perceive and respond to visible surveillance technologies, and how does this affect their sense of consent and emotional comfort in the space?" and "To what extent are visitors aware of physical surveillance (e.g., cameras) compared to digital tracking, and how do these forms of surveillance differently impact

their engagement and privacy concerns?"
