  1. CO1_ASV_taxonomy_detailed.txt

This file contains all Amplicon Sequence Variants (ASVs) recovered from sequence data processed through the Anacapa pipeline, corresponding to the taxonomy_detailed.txt output files generated by Anacapa. The dataset includes reads from both water samples and ARMS (Autonomous Reef Monitoring Structures) samples. For each ASV, the following details are provided:

  • DNA sequence
  • Read abundance per sample
  • Blast alignment statistics
  • Assigned taxonomy
  • Taxonomy confidence score (BCLA)
  • Accession numbers of blast matches
  1. df_table.txt

This file provides contextual information for each sample, including the following columns:

  • sample (corresponding metabarcode for each sequence file)
  • sample_name (abreviatura del sample nmame)
  • Site (collection location)
  • ocean_depth
  • fraction_size (for ARMS samples; indicates size fraction category: sessile, 2000-500 μm [mobile_500], and 500-100 μm [mobile_100])
  • replicate (replicate identifier)
  • sample_media (sample type: ARMS or water)
  • season (for water samples; e.g., summer, winter)
  • sample_type (categorization as sample or control, with control type specified if applicable)
  1. demutiplexed_arms (2)
The dataset contains compressed (zip) files with 108 paired FASTQ files (R1 and R2), representing demultiplexed ARMS eDNA samples sequenced for COI. Files follow a structured naming convention indicating sample attributes. Complete sample information is available in the metadata file (df_table.txt).
