We present comprehensive lipidomic data from human adipocytes and preadipocytes engineered to express a novel long non-coding RNA, linc GALNTL6-4. The study involved multiple experimental conditions: human mature adipocytes (MA) and preadipocytes (PA) overexpressed (OE) with their respective controls (Ctrl); MA silenced (SIR) compared against a non-targeting control (NTC); and MA exposed to macrophage-conditioned media (MCM) with untreated MA as the reference control. Lipid analysis was conducted via direct flow injection analysis (FIA) using a triple quadrupole mass spectrometer (FIA-MS/MS) and a high-resolution hybrid quadrupole-Orbitrap mass spectrometer (FIA-FTMS). FIA-MS/MS was carried out in positive ion mode, following the analytical setup and methodology detailed in Liebisch et al. (2004, 2006).
