An undescribed sesquiterpene guxinusocapsa A (1), featuring a unique 5/7/6 tricyclic skeleton, and three known compounds (2-4) was isolated from the mangrove endophytic fungus Aspergillus sp. GXNU R1. These isolates were established primarily through NMR data analysis. The new structure’s absolute configuration of 1 was identified by its single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis. Compound 1 showed strong activity towards the Asian citrus psyllid (Diaphorina citri) with 95% lethal at 1000 mg/kg.
