Background:Ningdu Sanhuang chicken is a small-breed local breed with early maturity, excellent meat quality, stable production performance and hereditary performance. Objectives:High-order spectra, as the main analysis tool for analyzing non-Gaussian stochastic processes, are used in this paper to analyze the growth status of Ningdu Sanhuang chicken in an attempt to find some patterns. Methodology:By analyzing the meat quality data of 16-week-old Ningdu Sanhuang roosters collected in the experiment using a bispectral tool. Results:the results show that the growth of these Ningdu Sanhuang chickens presents some regular phenomena. When the Ningdu Sanhuang chickens were born, the weight differences were relatively large. As time went by, their weights showed a consistent trend. The same was true for the shin circumference. There were significant differences when the chickens were born, and the tibias tended to be consistent by the 8th week. Discussion:This paper creatively applies the bispectrum signal analysis method to the analysis of the growth process of organisms and proves its effectiveness through experiments.
