<p>The authors propose a new scientific problem related to the legal regulation of animal rights. From the legal regulation of animals as a thing used in Russia and the Republic of Belarus today, it is recommended to move to more humane legal regimes. Corresponding changes are also worthy of inclusion in plans for the development of environmental and legal education. Moreover, these categories can be included in the structure of modern environmental education.</p>
