TransientFlux

A matlab code for estimating temporal patterns of vertical groundwater flux using multidepth temperature time series. TransientFlux can be applied in deep as well as near-surface homogeneous and layered media with flexible boundary conditions. It allows flexible set-up of the error tolerance for temperature simulation, as well as the temporal resolution for the estimated flow velocity. The approach shows fine temporal resolution for rapidly changing flow under various conditions and accurate estimates for a wide range of flow velocities.
