Sampson lipid equations with Lipid Ratio Plots.xlsx

A spreadsheet to calculate LDL cholesterol from a standard lipid panel by the Sampson-NIH equation, the enhanced Sampson-NIH equations (utilizes apoB), the Friedewald equation and the extended Martins-Hopkins equations. Lipid Ratio Plots are created which compares the percentage of LDL cholesterol within NonHDL cholesterol to the ratio of triglycerides to NonHDL cholesterol. This can be compared to the regression from the gold standard reference method of BetaQuantitation for LDL cholesterol and used to investigate the accuracy of the calculated results or any direct LDL cholesterol results that were entered.
