This chapter discusses in detail the police interrogation process in India, highlighting the interview process, techniques, the police training, and practice. An analysis of the statute, policy, and case analysis will be carried out to provide an overview of interrogation in India. This chapter will also analyse the Méndez Principles, looking into the credibility of their application in India.
