<p dir="ltr">This report aims to provide a clear, contemporary understanding of biodiversity in Knox, a municipality of 114 km² on the eastern fringe of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. The report covers what species and ecosystems exist (or once existed), where biodiversity is concentrated, what threatens and sustains biodiversity, and what Knox City Council and the community can do to protect, restore and improve biodiversity. </p><p dir="ltr">Volume 1 (163 pp.; https://10.6084/m9.figshare.28665332) contains non-site-specific information and recommendations.
