This work shows an Augmented Reality project applied to the study of medicine, which is crystallized through a Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) type system that serves as an innovative and efficient learning platform for undergraduate stu dents studying cardiology: To develop an SOA system that helps both teaching and learning of abstract concepts in cardiology, which require visual and manipulable objects that are difficult to obtain, due to the large space they occupy in magnetic media or because it is difficult to get their models in physical form. The SOA system is integrated through the OASIS program (Outil Auteur de Simulations Interactives Avec Scénarios), which facilitates the creation and use of standard interfaces that allow the services of different technologies and different data formats. This system strengthened the anatomical identification of the human heart and allowed a better interaction with the student, i.e., the system enhanced the use of sight, hearing, and kinesthetic, which allowed a better assimilation of knowledge.
