(A) Fractionation of spleen cells. Whole spleen cells from BALB/c mice were incubated with (PE)-conjugated anti-mouse CD19 and FITC–conjugated anti-mouse CD3. CD19+ and CD3+ populations were fractionated by a positive sorting. (B) 2.5×105 whole spleen cells and 1×105 fractionated CD19+ cells were cultured for 3 days with or without rAtHsp81.2 or rNbHsp90.3. Polymyxin B (PX) was used at 2 µg/ml. Values represent the mean and standard deviations of triplicate samples and are representative of two experiments. Statistical analysis was performed by one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) using the Bonferroni's Multiple Comparison Test. The asterisks indicate the statistically significant differences between the different stimuli and medium. **p<0.01, ***p<0.001.
