(A) Calvarial thickness (Calv.Th) and porosity (Calv.Po) measured at the calvariae of Zip14-/- and Zip14+/+ mice shows no significant (p<0.05) differences. (B) 3D reconstruction of calvariae of Zip14fl/-, Zip14fl/-; Runx2-Cre and Zip14fl/-; CtsK-Cre mice. (C) Calvarial porosity appears lower in Zip14fl/-; Runx2-Cre mice, but no significant (p<0.05) differences were observed in Zip14fl/-; Runx2-Cre and Zip14fl/-; CtsK-Cre mice. N = 6 animals/genotype.
