<i>fat-6</i> mRNA levels are induced through NHR-80 in <i>glp-1(e2141ts)</i> animals.

<p>(A) <i>fat-5</i> mRNA levels in wild type, <i>glp-1(e2141ts)</i>, <i>glp-1(e2141ts);nhr-80(tm1011)</i>, and <i>daf-16(mu86);glp-1(e2141ts)</i> mutants. Finally, we found that <i>fat-7</i> mRNA levels are unchanged in <i>daf-16(mu86);glp-1(e2141ts)</i> and in <i>glp-1(e2141ts);nhr-80(tm1011)</i> mutants relative to <i>glp-1(e2141ts)</i> mutants (Wilcoxon rank-sum test <i>p</i> value is non-significant). Thus, the induction of <i>fat-5</i> and <i>K04A8.5</i> is DAF-16 dependant while that of <i>fat-6</i> depends on NHR-80 only.</p>
