(+)-Vitisin A (Vt-A) inhibited RANKL-induced formation of tartrate-resistance acid phosphatase (TRAP)-positive multinucleated cells (MNCs) in RAW264.7 cell cultures.

Cells were cultured with indicated concentrations of Vt-A in the presence of RANKL (100 ng/ml) as described in materials and methods. Summary values are shown in the bar graph and each value is the mean ± SEM of four independent experiments. *p<0.05 and **p<0.01, different from values after stimulated with RANKL alone.
