Twitch peak torques and the corresponding M-waves before and after the conditioning hops.

Upper part: Resting mean twitch peak torques (TPT) of all participants before and after the ten maximal hops that served as conditioning contraction. All values are normalized to the mean of the 10 TPT prior to the conditioning hops. As hypothesized, there was only a significant main effect of time after the hops. A * symbol indicates a significant difference in the post-hoc analysis. Lower part: Resting mean peak-to-peak amplitudes of the corresponding M-waves (resting Mmax) normalized to the mean of the ten M-waves obtained prior to the conditioning hops. No significant main effect of time was shown.
