TNF-α was significantly lower in the GdCl3 group than in the control group except at 0.5 h, while serum sFas level was increased in animals with ischemia/reperfusion injury. Preadminstration of GdCl3 led to a significant increase in sFas level between 2 and 12 h after operation.
